Suggested fabrics: Lightweight woven fabrics. Fabrics with good drape are best. Cotton lawn, rayon and double gauze are all good choices.

Fabric requirements: Yardage is based on directional fabric. If your fabric is non-directional you may need a little less. If you need to pattern match you will need more.

140 cm (55") wide fabric: Knee length, 40 - 180 cm (1/2 - 2 yd) // Maxi, 50 - 240 cm (5/8 - 2 7/8 yd).

Sizing: Preemie/small newborn – 12 years. Please check the size chart.

Notions: Small amount of fusible interfacing; a maximum of 50 cm (20") of 10 mm (3/8") clear elastic to gather the skirt; a maximum of 30 cm (12") of elastic, 25 mm (1") wide for age 1 and younger, 32 mm (1 1/4") wide for ages 2 - 7, 38 mm (1 1/2") wide for age 8 and older; for bias bound halter neck only, a maximum of 225 cm (89") of 12 mm (1/2") or 15 mm (5/8") bias binding; for button closure only, 1 or 2 buttons.
