Buy the Baby/Child Harem Pants sewing pattern from Waves & Wild. The Harem Pants are wonderfully cute, super comfortable and amazingly quick and easy to sew. The pattern includes instructions to make both full length harem pants and shorts, and to add knee patches and faux pockets. They are particularly good for children who wear cloth nappies as they have plenty of room in the booty! But that doesn’t stop them being popular with older children too.

This sewing pattern is available to buy in the following formats:

Baby & child harem pants

I'm fast becoming a bit of a Made By Jack's Mum superfan. I've made a few patterns now and all have turned out really well. The pattern instructions are nice and clear with photos and diagrams to help.

My first two pairs of harems were made in a grey cotton Spandex jersey knit fabric with grey ribbing for the waistband and cuffs. I made a basic pair with no frills or pocket details and they came together very quickly.
The basic pattern is very economical with fabric. I made a 6-12 month size and 4 year old size and still have fabric left from the metre I bought (167cm wide).
