Waves & Wild Baby/Child Four Seasons Joggers

Buy the Baby/Child Four Seasons Joggers sewing pattern from Waves & Wild. These casual jersey joggers will take you right through the whole year! There are four length options: shortie, knee length, capri and full length. You can choose either a regular jersey waistband or a double-height fold-over waistband. You can also add pockets (two size options) and a faux drawstring. There is an additional cloth-friendly pattern included for preemie/small newborn up to age 4.

Suggested fabrics: Light/medium weight stretch (knit) fabric with a minimum of 50% stretch (ideally the stretch should be 4-way, but 2-way is acceptable). Cotton/Lycra jersey is best for the main fabric and waistband, and ribbing is best for the leg cuffs. Light french terry or sweatshirt fleece can also be used for the main fabric. Good stretch and return is especially important for the waistband.

Fabric requirements: Yardage is based on directional fabric. If your fabric is non-directional you may need less.

140 cm (55") wide fabric: Shortie, 20 - 70 cm (1/4 - 3/4 yd) // Knee length, 20 - 80 cm (1/4 - 7/8 yd) // Capri, 20 - 100 cm (1/4 - 1 1/8 yd) // Full length, 30 - 130 cm (3/8 - 1 3/8 yd).

Sizing: Preemie/small newborn – 12 years. Please check the size chart.

Notions: Faux drawstring: a scrap of light/medium interfacing; a small piece of drawstring cord or a strip of 1" wide jersey (maximum length 40 cm/1/2 yd) // Pockets: a small amount of cotton/Lycra ribbing (jersey can be used, but ribbing tends to sit better).

PDF pattern includes: Instructions; A4/legal/letter print-at-home pattern (33 pages); A0 copy shop pattern (2 sheets); projector pattern. This pattern has layers so you can print just the sizes(s) you need.
