Buy the Wardrobe Builder T-shirt sewing pattern from Wardrobe by Me. The Wardrobe Builder is a fitted T-shirt with five necklines, six sleeve lengths, and three body lengths to choose from. Combine any neckline, sleeve, and body length to create an endless number of different T-shirts. Options include boat, crew, scoop, deep scoop, and V necklines, sleeve lengths from full to sleeveless, and a straight or curved hem.

Suggested fabrics: Choose light to medium weight jersey fabric such as single jersey, rib or other knitted fabrics that include up to 5% Lycra or elastane. Choose a fibre such as cotton, rayon, polyester, silk, modal or Tencel. The fibre will affect the fit of the T-shirt.
Fabric requirements: 150 cm (60") wide fabric: Long sleeve, 1.25 - 1.5 m (1.3 - 1.75 yd) // 3/4 sleeve, 1.1 - 1.35 m (1.25 - 1.5 yd) // Elbow sleeve, 1 - 1.25 m (1.1 - 1.4 yd) // Short sleeve, 0.9 - 1.2 m (1 - 1.3 yd) // Cap sleeve, 0.8 - 1 m (0.9 - 1.2 yd) // Sleeveless, 0.7 m (0.8 yd).
Sizing: US 0 – 24 / EU 30 – 54 (approx. UK 6 – 24, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer's size chart and finished garment measurements.
PDF pattern includes: Instructions; A4/US letter print-at-home pattern (25 pages); A0 copy shop pattern (2 sheets). This pattern has layers so you can print just the size(s) you need.

The Wardrobe Builder pattern offers numerous combinations - this is the "o" neck version. What a great concept - you choose the type of neckline you want and trace that pattern piece, then trace the correct shape body piece and tape them together to get the full piece. For the neckband you use measurements from a grid to cut your own and the sleeves are attached in the flat. Easy peasy and so many options to choose from.

I made size 4 and used shoulder size 8 due to my broad shoulders. This Wardrobe Builder T-shirt has a perfect fit. Like the pattern name says: this pattern is the perfect base for wardrobe staple. Pattern can be used the whole year due to fact it has 5 necklines, 6 sleeve lengths and 3 body lengths so one can make 90 different T-shirts with this pattern. Pattern is designed for height 172 cm and has 7 mm seam allowance around all edges of the pattern pieces and 2.5 cm for the hem.
