Vogue Top and Skirt V1486

Buy the V1486 top and skirt sewing pattern from Vogue® Patterns. It's perfect for an advanced beginner dressmaker. The close-fitting crop top (above waist) has cap sleeves. Purchased bias tape finish. The skirt has a lined waistband, side pockets, pleated lower front and back and is cut on the crosswise grain. A, B: Exposed back zipper.

Suggested fabrics: A: Silk mikado, heavy satin, shantung // B: Moderate stretch knits: double knits, scuba knits, bonded knits.

Note: Unsuitable for obvious diagonals. Fabric requirement allows for nap, one-way design or shading. Extra fabric may be needed to match design or for shrinkage.

Sizing: A5 (6-8-10-12-14), E5 (14-16-18-20-22), approx. UK sizes A5 (4/6 - 10), E5 (10 - 18/20). Please check the size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: A: 16" separating zipper, 3 1/4 yds. of 1/4" double-fold bias tape // B: 14" separating zipper, 2 yds. of 1/4" double-fold bias tape.
