Vikisews Lorraine Dress

Buy the Lorraine Dress sewing pattern from Vikisews. Lorraine is a close-fitting dress with an accentuated waist. It features tie straps and a waist seam. The front bodice features separate cups with a draped overlay. The shaping on the bodice is achieved with princess seams. The skirt is bias-cut and slightly flared. The dress fastens with an invisible zipper in the centre back seam. Lorraine is mid-calf length.

Suggested fabrics: Satin, dress-weight viscose, stretch crepe, linen, poplin, sateen, silk.

The dress in the cover photo is made of textured cotton. The fabric is medium weight, soft, structured, and has very little stretch. The fibre content is 100% cotton.

Fabric requirements: When purchasing fabric, buy 5% more than required to account for shrinkage.

Main: 140 cm (55″) wide fabric, with a directional print: 1.84 - 2.57 m (2 - 2 3/4 yd).

Sizing: 34 – 52 (approx. UK 6 – 20, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

Vikisews patterns are designed for a B/C cup.
