The waistband features two rows of topstitching which form a casing threaded with wide elastic and a twill tape drawstring. The pants have side seam pockets and a pair of patch pockets. Joggers Delight

This pattern is perfect if you are looking for a slightly trendier jogger. Joanne is an updated style with an elasticated high waist and hems, a cargo pants twist, with inseam pockets and the patch pockets on the thighs. It was a pretty quick sew, well, it would have been if I hadn't decided to solve a problem with scissors. I notice in another review they found them too long, I hastily hacked off 3cms of hem only to stitch it back on.

This was my first Vikisews pattern and I'm really impressed by the level of detail in the instructions, some of which I would say are a little unnecessary if you are an advanced or intermediate sewist.  If you're at that level you'll probably know what you can skip or do differently, but it ensures that beginners will get a really good finish; the instructions were clear and easy to follow.

I cut the 38 in height 3, and didn't make any adjustments.  I'm not very wide in the hip so next time I will slim down the hip curve a little, maybe I could have sized down.

I used a 100% organic cotton, but I'll make these again with a loopback jersey for a lighter version. I finished making this pair just as summer started so I'm looking forward to winter just so I can wear these. I'm in love!

Best joggers

I have several jogger patterns but wanted one that looked a little more cooler and with a different pocket style.  I took ages looking for the right one and came across this one.  I paired it with the interstella hoodie by Bella loves patterns.

I ordered height group 2 but I wished I ordered group one for my 5’1 frame…I ended up chopping off around 2.5 inches off the bottom.

Clear instructions and it came together well.

Fabric used is alpine fleece - warm and stretchy
