Vikisews Esther Dress

Buy the Esther Dress sewing pattern from Vikisews. Esther is a close-fitting dress. It features a waist seam, bust darts transferred to the side seams, and waist darts on both the front bodice and back bodice. The short set-in sleeve is gathered at the sleeve cap, and the skirt is gathered along the waistline. The dress features a deep square neckline and fastens with buttons and buttonholes at the centre front. Esther is midi length.

Suggested fabrics: Dress-weight viscose, crepe satin, challis, tencel, linen, cotton, cotton eyelet fabric.

The garment in the cover photo is made of 100% viscose. The fabric is medium weight, with good drape, soft and non-stretch.

Fabric requirements: When purchasing fabric, buy 5% more than required to account for shrinkage.

Main: 140 cm (55″) wide fabric, with a directional print/nap: 1.65 - 2.42 m (1 3/4 - 2 5/8 yd) // 145 cm (57") wide fabric, with a directional print/nap: 1.65 - 2.42 m (1 3/4 - 2 5/8 yd).

Sizing: 34 – 52 (approx. UK 6 – 20, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

Vikisews patterns are designed for a B/C cup.

Height 2 = 162 – 168 cm (5’4″ – 5’6″)

Model Alina: Height 172 cm (5'8") / Bust 86 cm (33 7/8") / Waist 65 cm (25 5/8") / Hips 93 cm (36 5/8"). Alina is wearing size 36 in height 3.

Model Yana: Height 174 cm (5’8”) / Bust 107 cm (42 1/8") / Waist 87 cm (34 1/4") / Hips 122 cm (48"). Yana is wearing size 48, adjusted at the waist, in height 3.
