Buy the Viva Tie Jacket sewing pattern from Vanessa Hansen. The Viva Tie Jacket is incredibly versatile. Make it in a floppy cotton/viscose mix for a loose and comfy cardi; in a navy or green cotton twill for a utilitarian light jacket to wear on top of dungarees; or choose a luxury jacquard for a dressed up occasion. You can try different fabrics and add your own personal touches.
View A is the jacket version, featuring a chest pocket and hip pockets. The jacket is closed with side ties.
View B is the shirt version, which is a little shorter. It has a chest pocket and elasticated sleeve cuffs and is closed using a belt.

The Viva Tie Jacket is a roomy jacket meant to sit loosely on you. The most important measurements are the bust and low hips. If your body measurements fall into two sizes, check the finished garment measurements as there is a generous amount of ease in the garment. The designer recommends the finished garment measurements to be at least 5 cm (2") bigger than your body measurements. Only sizes 20 - 28 have a bust dart.
Notions: Thread; about 60 cm (23 5/8") of elastic, 3.8 cm (1 1/2") wide (View B only).
