Views B and D: 45" (114 cm) wide fabric (sizes 14 - 22 only): 4 yd (3.7 m) // 54" (137 cm) wide fabric: 3.5 - 4 yd (3.2 - 3.7 m).

Note: The size ranges have been drafted from different blocks. The 14 – 30 block has a slightly more curvy set of dimensions than the 0 – 18 block. The 14 – 30 block has a D instead of a C cup (meaning a 4″ rather than a 3″ difference between your full and high bust) and has a 1″ larger difference between the waist and hip circumference. Both size ranges are drafted for an average height of 5’5″.

Notions: Coordinating thread; stretch sewing machine needle; 1/4 yd of tricot or knit interfacing; 1.5 yd of 1" wide elastic (sizes 0 - 18) or 2 yd of 1.25" wide elastic (sizes 14 - 30); safety pin; hand sewing needle (optional).

The comfiest maternity jumpsuit

I’ve made this pattern a few times. It’s my favourite reach for playsuit in the summer, but where this pattern really shined was during my pregnancy.

I made the non elasticated jumpsuit version and it lasted me the whole 9 months with my 2nd child. It was the outfit I would always reach for because it was so comfy and roomy and it just looked so cute.

Don’t get me wrong, I love my regular ones too but if you want to know true comfort whilst pregnant I cannot recommend this pattern enough!

Super comfy and quick to sew

,I made this out of just 1.5m.of fabric with almost zero waste  (still not quite sure how I managed  that given it says for a size 10 (US 6) it suggested I'd need 3m?!)

Anyway, it was pretty quick to sew once I'd figured.out what was going on with the pockets!

Likely to make again, and will cut a slightly longer length on the lining to make sewing in the elastic a little easier.

Super comfy to wear and there's potential for pattern hacks - might try a different neckline next time around, or small sleeves.

Lightweight jersey, 95%cotton, 5% lycra.

Maternity Nova Jumpsuit

I am in love with this jumpsuit! There are no words to do my comfort levels justice when I am wearing this.

I sized up as A) pregnancy allowances and B) I prefer a baggy style.

I've got my next one planned already, however I think I'll wait till after pregnancy to sew that one up.

This is such a great pattern and I would recommend it to anyone wanting something comfy that looks great.

I hacked a shelf bra onto this version as I've pretty much forgone bras since lockdown and this just adds a little extra comfort and support.

I have no intentions of taking this off any time soon!
