Buy the Sienna Dress sewing pattern from The Modern Sewing Co. This statement summer dress is perfect for every occasion from weddings to days at the beach, depending on your choice of fabric. It consists of five panels which are pleated to the low hip and then spill out to form a voluminous skirt. While the dress is designed for a high end feel, practicality has not been forgotten with the inclusion of side pockets. You can also play with contrasting colours – a contrast side panel really adds to the design.

– PDF pattern + Printed A0 copy shop (We print out the A0 pattern sheets, but you’ll need to download the digital instructions, as we don’t print these. The PDF files will be emailed immediately after purchase, and the A0 pattern sheets will be dispatched next working day). You will receive all sizes 4-28 in digital form, but only your selected size will be printed. What is Copy Shop?

Suggested fabrics: Linen, cotton lawn/poplin, raw silk, viscose, silk taffeta, silk satin.

Fabric requirements: 

Self only: 150 cm wide fabric: 300 – 390 cm // 110 cm wide fabric (sizes 4-12 only): 390 cm.

Self and contrast fabric: 150 cm wide fabric: Fabric A, 240 – 260 cm / Fabric B, 120 – 140 cm // 110 cm wide fabric (sizes 4-12 only): Fabric A, 260 cm / Fabric B, 140 cm.

Sizing: UK 4 – 28 (approx. UK 4/6 – 26, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

This pattern is drafted for a cup size ‘C’.
