Frida Shirt - a straightforward pattern with interesting details.

If I could give this pattern more than 5 stars I would. I have made it five times now, twice for my daughter and three times for me. I have made it in linen, corduroy, shirting cotton and this one in wax print cotton and has worked very well in all these fabrics. The instructions for this pattern are excellent and result in an extremely well finished garment with french seams, a perfectly bias bound neckline and precise button plackets. It is described as a shirt pattern but all the versions I have made are worn as lightweight jackets. I would highly recommend this pattern especially to beginners looking to elevate their technique as well as more experienced sewers who would appreciate the neat precision of the small details.
