Buy the Lane Pants sewing pattern from Syd Graham Patterns. The Lane Pants are high waisted, with a comfortably wide leg and buildable elements to help you customise your dream pair of pants. Opt for cargo pockets, a drawstring, or keep it simple. Depending on what design elements you like and fabric you choose, you could create anything from linen trousers to pyjama bottoms to structured cargo pants and beyond.

Note if purchasing copy shop printing: Some of the pattern pieces have been split (to fit on the A0 sheets) and will need to be joined together.

Suggested fabrics: You can use a variety of fabrics depending on your desired outcome. The designer's favourites are cottons and linens weighing 3-9 oz/yd².

Fabric requirements: 

60" (150 cm) wide fabric: 2 1/8 - 3 yd (194 - 274 cm).

54" (135 cm) wide fabric: 2 3/8 - 4 yd (217 - 366 cm).

44" (115 cm) wide fabric: 2 1/2 - 4 7/8 yd (229 - 446 cm).

Sizing: 0 – 34 (approx. UK 6 – 36, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer's size chart and finished garment measurements.

This pattern was drafted for an individual who is 5'7" (170 cm).

Notions: 1.5" (3.8 cm) wide elastic (see chart); large safety pin to thread the elastic; small safety pin to turn the drawstring // Optional: pre-made drawstring if you opt to not make your own.
