Buy the Bespoke Blazer sewing pattern from Sew to Grow. Dress to impress, day or night, in the Bespoke Blazer. Make the 3/4 sleeve version out of rayon for a flirty casual feel, or use a structured linen for a posh polished look. The back seaming contours to create a figure flattering shape, and the front panels cascade back to reveal the lining. Great opportunity to add a pop of colour! Great little summer jacket

I have made four of these and they look good as fairly casual orformal jackets. The one in the photo is made using Japanese seersucker from Raystitch . A dream to sew with . Good instructions and very little adjustments after I had done the toile. I lengthened the front and used lining fabric rather than self lining as they recommend. I also put a button hole . Otherwise I didn’t change it

Sew To Grow Bespoke Blazer

Ok so I'm definitely into sewing outerwear currently! More specifically, little blazers and jackets. I saw the Sew To Grow Bespoke Blazer in one of The Foldline's weekly vlogs and instantly loved the simplicity of the style and how versatile it would be to dress up an outfit!

Perfect for the changing seasons, the bespoke blazer is almost completely lined, the front lining pieces fold back to make the lapels and the back piece is partially lined. The back pieces are also shaped to fit your back which looks really lovely as it fits so much better. There are also options for a 3/4 length sleeve or long length sleeve too.

I cut out the size XS based on my measurements, it's quite handy that the sizing for this jacket is in groups rather than set measurements so that you can get a feel for what the fit of the jacket is going to be. It is quite loose fit whilst still providing some nice shaping. I though that the fabric requirements were quite generous initially however  I had 1.5m of a wide fabric that I desperately wanted to use for this pattern and it only just about fitted on! So I would recommend definitely buying 2 metres/yards for this pattern for making anything other than the XS size.
