Sew Over It Holly Dress and Jumper

Buy the Holly Dress and Jumper sewing pattern from Sew Over It. Quick to sew and easy to wear, this comfortable and stylish dress or jumper is a great sewjo booster. Whichever version you make, you'll be wearing it on repeat!

This versatile pattern includes four different hem lengths. Make Holly as a mini or midi dress, or sew a practical jumper and choose between hip length or a cropped style with a waistband.

All versions feature a distinctive funnel neckband, shoulder darts, and raglan bishop sleeves with narrow cuffs. The sizes 18-30 pattern has bust darts. The dress version includes optional elastic channels at the sides for a more defined shape.

Note if purchasing copy shop printing for sizes 18-30: Some of the pattern pieces have been split (to fit on the A0 sheets) and will need to be joined together.

Suggested fabrics: Medium weight knit fabric, such as a ponte di roma, double knit jersey or interlock knit. 

Fabric requirements: The fabric requirements include only 10 cm buffer to avoid fabric wastage. V1 mini length requires 60 cm less fabric.

Sizes 6 - 20

Version 1: 1.15 m (45") wide fabric: 3 - 3.2 m (3 1/3 - 3 1/2 yd) // 1.40 m (55") wide fabric: 2.5 - 3 m (2 3/4 - 3 1/3 yd).

Version 2: 1.15 m (45") wide fabric: 1.75 - 2 m (2 - 2 1/4 yd) // 1.40 m (55") wide fabric: 1.25 - 1.7 m (1 3/8 - 1 7/8 yd). 

Version 3: 1.15 m (45") wide fabric: 1.4 - 1.8 m (1 5/8 - 2 yd) // 1.40 m (55") wide fabric: 1.2 - 1.5 m (1 1/3 - 1 2/3 yd).

Sizes 18 - 30

Version 1: 1.15 m (45") wide fabric: 3.35 - 4 m (3 2/3 - 4 3/8 yd) // 1.40 m (55") wide fabric: 3.1 - 3.3 m (3 1/2 - 3 5/8 yd).

Version 2: 1.15 m (45") wide fabric: 2 - 2.75 m (2 1/4 - 3 1/8 yd) // 1.40 m (55") wide fabric: 1.85 - 2 m (2 1/8 - 2 1/4 yd).

Version 3: 1.15 m (45") wide fabric: 1.85 - 2.6 m (2 1/8 - 2 7/8 yd) // 1.40 m (55") wide fabric: 1.78 - 1.85 m (2 - 2 1/8 yd).

Sizing: UK 6 – 20 and UK 18 – 30 (approx. UK 6 – 20 and UK 20 – 32, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer's size charts and finished garment measurements.

This pattern is split into two different blocks. The 6-20 size range is drafted for a B cup. The 18-30 size range is drafted for a D cup.
