Sew Over It Hazel Trousers

Buy the Hazel Trousers sewing pattern from Sew Over It. The Hazel Trousers are the new and improved version of the Ultimate Culottes. The designer has extended the sizing and added a gorgeous full length version alongside the original cropped version.

The Hazel Trousers are designed to sit on the natural waist. The pattern includes two finishing options: Version 1 has a waistband with wide belt loops, while Version 2 is finished with a neat facing. Both options feature single darts at the front and double darts at the back for shaping, with an invisible zip in the side seam. Fitted only at the waist, the Hazel Trousers are a great pattern for those new to trouser making.

Suggested fabrics: Light to medium weight woven fabrics with lots of drape, such as linen, crepe, suiting wool, viscose linen and rayon. 

Fabric requirements: Fabric requirements are given for full length. You will need 50 cm (3/4 yd) less fabric for the cropped length.

Version 1: 1.15 m (45") wide fabric: 2.6 - 3.2 m (2 7/8 - 3 1/2 yd) // 1.40 m (55") wide fabric: 2.5 m (2 3/4 yd).

Version 2: 1.15 m (45") wide fabric: 2.8 - 2.9 m (3 - 3 1/8 yd) // 1.40 m (55") wide fabric: 2.6 m (2 7/8 yd).

Sizes 18 - 30

Version 1: 1.15 m (45") wide fabric: 4.2 m (4 3/8 yd) // 1.40 m (55") wide fabric: 2.7 m (3 yd).
