Buy the Amelia Jacket sewing pattern from Sew Over It. The Amelia Jacket is a 1940s-style waisted bomber jacket, named after the indomitable Amelia Earhart. Designed to be made out of a medium weight woven fabric, it’s a satisfying project with some great techniques to master.

Amelia features bust darts, a zipped front, flat collar, full-length sleeves with elasticated cuffs, and an elasticated waistband. The jacket is fully lined for a beautiful neat finish on the inside. It hits at the natural waist so is perfect for wearing with high-waisted trousers and skirts or over dresses.
