Sew Different Moscow Dress

Buy the Moscow Dress sewing pattern from Sew Different. The Moscow Dress is a 60s inspired shift dress with striking two-tone style lines. It is lightly fitted with darts at the back and bust, and a boat neckline. The dress pulls on over the head with no need for a zip. Included in the pattern, although not shown in the photography or instructions, is an optional short sleeve.

You have the option of using two contrasting fabrics. For best results ensure that the two fabrics you use are of similar weight and texture. There are lengthen/shorten lines marked on the pattern for you to adjust to suit your own style.

Fabric requirements: 

150 cm (59") wide fabric: Black fabric, 1.1 - 2 m (1.25 - 2.25 yd) // White fabric, 1.1 m (1.25 yd) // All pieces in one fabric, 2 m (2.25 yd).

112 cm (44") wide fabric: Black fabric, 2.25 m (2.5 yd) // White fabric, 1.1 m (1.25 yd) // All pieces in one fabric, 2.5 m (2.75 yd).

Sizing: UK 8 – 26. Please check the finished garment measurements. Note the measurements provided are finished garment measurements (not body measurements).

Notions: 1.5 m of 1/2" single fold bias binding (or 0.75 m of 1" double fold binding cut in half along the length).
