Buy the Silvena Boyshort sewing pattern from Primrose Dawn. With the Silvena Boyshort pattern, you can create sexy lace boyshorts with any width of stretch lace trim. Silvena can be made with only lace or a combination of lace and knit fabric, to create your desired rise length. Boyshorts made in the minimum width lace are very low rise at the centre front and back. Wider lace (or a combination of lace and fabric) will create higher rise boyshorts.

Suggested fabrics: Stretch lace trim. For Style A, minimum lace width is 7" (17.8 cm) for M sizes and 8" (20.3 cm) for W sizes. // Style B fabric: Stretch knits with at least 30% stretch. Cotton/spandex jersey, rayon/spandex jersey, bamboo/spandex jersey, stretch mesh. // Gusset lining: Cotton jersey.

Fabric requirements: Stretch lace trim: 1 5/8 - 2 yd (1.5 - 1.9 m) - more trim may be needed to mirror lace // Style B fabric: 1/3 - 3/8 yd (0.3 - 0.4 m) // Gusset lining: 6" (16 cm) square.

Sizing: 1M – 6M (approx. UK 8 – 20) and 5W – 12W (approx. UK 16 – 32). Please check the size chart.

Notions: Style B: Elastic to finish waist edge, 1  - 1 3/8 yd (1 - 1.3 m). Fold over elastic (FOE) or a turned back elastic, such as picot edge elastic, may be used. If using a turned back elastic, be sure to add elastic allowance to your desired rise length.
