Suggested fabrics: The level of support will be determined by your fabric choices. Look for at least 10% spandex, and 30-50% stretch. A high level of spandex provides good recovery, but too much stretchiness will be less supportive. Using powernet as the lining fabric and/or adding foam cups can also improve support.

Self: Athletic knits, supplex, swim nylon/spandex, milliskin, scuba. Also powernet for back.

Lining: Fabrics listed above, stretch mesh, cotton/spandex, or powernet for larger cup sizes.

Stabiliser (for straps): Sheer cup lining, stabilised tricot.

Fabric requirements: Self: 1/2 yd (0.5 m) // Lining: 1/2 yd (0.5 m) // Stabiliser: 5" x 11" (13 x 28 cm)

Sizing: Band sizes 30 - 42 and cup sizes A - L. Please check the size chart.

Notions: Fold over elastic, 2.5 yd (2.3 m); 1" (25 mm) band elastic, 1 yd (1 m); ball point/stretch needle; temporary adhesive spray (optional) // Front B: Stretch lace trim (minimum 5"/12.7 cm wide), minimum 1 yd (1 m) // Front C: Cut and sew foam, 15" x 13" (38 x 33 cm) // Back F: 2-row hook and eye closure // Back G: 1/2" (12 mm) strap elastic, 30" (76 cm); 2 rings and sliders, 1/2" (12 mm).
