Petits D'om Nordic Snood or Hood

Buy the Child/Teen Nordic Snood or Hood sewing pattern from Petits D'om. The snood covers the upper part of the chest, and can be pulled up to cover the mouth and nose. It can be sewn with or without a hood, which can be lined or unlined. You can also add bear ears to the hood! The hood opening is tightened with a drawstring for maximum protection against the cold, and the drawstring can be finished with cord ends or pompoms.

Suggested fabrics: Choose a plush fabric with 15-30% stretch. Cuddle fleece, supple and light faux fur, sherpa fabric...

Fabric requirements: 150 cm (58") wide fabric: Snood, 40 - 50 cm (1/2 - 5/8 yd) // Snood + hood, 80 - 100 cm (7/8 - 1 1/8 yd).

Sizing: 2 – 16 years. Please check the designer's size chart.

Notions: Optional: 1 m (1 1/8 yd) of drawstring cord; two cord locks; two end caps; scrap of jersey or minkee fabric for inside bear ears; small amount of fibre fill for pompoms.
