Lovely but very much on the small size

I made these for my 8month old, he is big at 10kg. He is currently wearing 9-12month clothes from the supermarkets/high street. I made the 12-18month pattern using fabric from an old jersey dress, hoping he would grow into them. They have come out really well but they only just fit him!

I didn’t make any alterations and followed the instructions which were clear enough. Next time I would allow more space on the inside leg seams and keep the length the same.
