Our Lady of Leisure Bellini Dress

Buy the Bellini Dress sewing pattern from Our Lady of Leisure. The Bellini is a modern knit maxi dress with splits at the sides. It has a crew neckline and baseball-style raglan sleeves which can be short or long. This easy-to-wear style is trans-seasonal and great for layering.

Note: An overlocker (serger) is required to make this dress.

Note if purchasing copy shop printing: Some of the pattern pieces have been split (to fit on the A0 sheets) and will need to be joined together.

Suggested fabrics: Knit fabrics with a minimum of 5% lycra or elastane. The fabric should have at least 20% stretch to allow the neckline to stretch over your head. Ribbing works especially well. Jersey, double jersey or interlock will also work. Be sure to preshrink your fabrics, especially if you’re combining two fabrics.

Fabric requirements: 112 cm (44") wide fabric: 2.5 m (2.85 yd) // 150 cm (60") wide fabric: 2 m (2.2 yd).

Sizing: A - G (approx. UK 6/8 – 18, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer's size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: An overlocker (serger) threaded up for stretch knits is required for the main seams. A sewing machine with a ballpoint needle and a twin needle for the hems.
