This sewing pattern is available to buy in the following formats:

– PDF (available to download immediately after purchase). What is a PDF?

– PDF pattern + Printed A0 copy shop (We print out the A0 pattern sheets, but you’ll need to download the digital instructions, as we don’t print these. The PDF files will be emailed immediately after purchase, and the A0 pattern sheets will be dispatched next working day). What is Copy Shop?

Note if purchasing copy shop printing: Some of the pattern pieces have been split (to fit on the A0 sheets) and will need to be joined together.

Suggested fabrics: Light to mid weight wovens are recommended for this pattern, but a heavy denim would also work nicely. Possible wovens include linen, viscose, tencel, denim, cotton lawn, cotton poplin, quilting cotton, cotton twill, etc. Cotton poplin, quilting cotton, and linen are great fabrics for beginners as they hold their shape. The pockets must be made from a light weight woven such as cotton lawn or voile.

Although this pattern was designed for woven fabrics, it could easily be adapted for use with knit fabrics too.

Fabric requirements: You may need more fabric if you choose to use a directional print.

44" (112 cm) wide fabric: 2.5 - 3.25 yd (2.3 - 3 m).

56" (142 cm) wide fabric: 1.75 - 2.75 yd (1.6 - 2.5 m).

Sizing: 1 15 (approx. UK 6/8  34, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

This pattern is drafted for a 5'6" (1.68 m) height.

Notions: 1.5" (4 cm) wide elastic (see chart).
