Buy the Emily Vest sewing pattern from JULIANA MARTEJEVS. This reversible quilted vest gives you two vests in one! You can quilt the fabric yourself or use a pre-quilted fabric - both options are covered in the instructions. The vest has a cropped length, is finished with bias binding, and features double welt pockets at the front (or you can omit the pockets for an easier sewing project). The Emily Vest is the perfect finishing touch to any outfit and will keep you nice and warm on cooler summer nights.

Suggested fabrics: Cotton fabric + wadding/batting. The sample was sewn in 100% cotton poplin with a weight of 130 gsm. You can also use pre-quilted fabric.

Fabric requirements: You will need the quantity below for each of two fabrics. If cutting your own bias binding, you will need an additional 60 cm of one of your fabrics.

140 cm wide fabric: XS-L, 55 cm // XL-XXXL, 70 cm.

Sizing: XS – XXXL (approx. UK 6/8 – 20, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart.

Notions: Wadding/batting, 90 cm wide, 1.5 m for XS-L or 2 m for XL-XXXL (not needed if using a pre-quilted fabric); bias binding, 3.4 m for XS-L or 3.8 m for XL-XXXL (or cut your own); 60 cm of 2 mm wide elastic cord.
