What we think: This sewing pattern is fantastic for those of you who love to sew with stretch. The cut of the shoulder on this pattern is its standout feature!
Suggested fabrics: The Juniper Cardigan should be made with stable knit fabrics that have a good amount of stretch across the grain. A minimum of 30% stretch and weight of 180 gsm is recommended for best results. Cotton/lycra (spandex/elastane) combinations work well for lightweight seasonal cardigans, while heavier weight merino and wool blends are great for layering in cooler weather. The Juniper Cardigan was drafted using 200 gsm 100% merino jersey knit.
Fabric requirements: Extra may be required to match patterns.
