Buy the Salamanca Cropped Jacket sewing pattern from Itch to Stitch. This swing style jacket is a versatile addition to your wardrobe. Make it in wool, and you will have a jacket perfect for the office, or make it in cotton or linen, and you will have a lovely spring jacket. The Salamanca has gathered raglan sleeves and a high-low hem. It is fully lined for a beautiful finish, and has options for A, B, C, D and DD cups for the perfect fit.

Suggested fabrics:

Primary fabric: Use medium weight woven fabric with or without stretch. Wool, suiting, twill and boucle are great choices.

Lining: Use acetate, Ambiance by Bemberg, batiste, lawn, pima cotton, china silk, silk crepe de chine or silk georgette.

Fabric requirements:

Primary fabric: 60" (150 cm) wide fabric: 1 1/2 - 1 5/8 yd (140 - 150 cm) // 44" (115 cm) wide fabric: 1 3/4 - 2 yd (160 - 180 cm).

Lining: 44" (115 cm) wide fabric: 1 1/4 - 1 7/8 yd (120 - 170 cm).

Sizing: US 00 – 20 (approx. UK 8 – 22). Please check the designer's size chart and finished garment measurements.

A note from the designer about bust cup options: To determine your cup size, subtract the circumference of your over bust from the circumference of the fullest part of your bust. If the rounded difference is 1″ (2.5 cm), use A cup; 2″ (5 cm), use B cup; 3″ (7.5 cm), use C cup; 4″ (10 cm), use D cup; 5″ (12.5 cm), use DD cup.

Notions: Medium weight woven or weft insertion fusible interfacing; six 1/2" (1.25 cm) buttons.

PDF pattern includes: Step-by-step illustrated instructions; US letter/A4 print-at-home pattern (61 pages, but you only need to print the pages for your cup size); A0 copy shop pattern (1 long sheet) // Layers: Yes // Projector file: No.
