Buy the Danube Jean Skirt sewing pattern from Itch to Stitch. The Danube is a classic five-pocket denim skirt. This slim-fit straight skirt has a fly front, back yokes for shaping, and side slits for walking ease and style. The waistband sits at the natural waist, so you can wear it all day long and feel super comfortable.

Suggested fabrics:

Primary fabric: Use a non-stretch denim, twill, corduroy or other bottom weight fabric.

Lining: Use a lightweight woven fabric without stretch. The lining fabric is for the pockets.

Fabric requirements:

Primary fabric: 54" (135 cm) wide fabric: 1 1/8 - 1 3/8 yd (100 - 130 cm).

Lining: 44" (115 cm) wide fabric: 3/8 yd (30 cm).

Sizing: US 00 – 20 (approx. UK 8 – 22). Please check the designer's size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Topstitching thread; one 6" (15 cm) or longer metal or jeans zipper; one jeans button; ten rivets (optional).

PDF pattern includes: Step-by-step illustrated instructions; US letter/A4 print-at-home pattern (19 pages); A0 copy shop pattern (1 sheet) // Layers: Yes // Projector file: No.
