Suggested fabrics:

Primary fabric: Use medium-weight knit fabric with good recovery, and with 35-50% horizontal stretch, such as jersey, interlock, viscose French terry and double-brushed poly.

Lining: Use very light knit fabric with good recovery such as a very lightweight jersey, power mesh and nylon tricot. The lining is not supposed to be visible, but it may still peek out as you move. Therefore, it is best to use a coordinating colour.

Fabric requirements:

Primary fabric: 54″ (135 cm) wide fabric: Top, 1 1/4 - 2 1/8 yd (110 - 190 cm) // Dress, 1 5/8 - 3 yd (150 - 270 cm).

Lining: 54″ (135 cm) wide fabric: 1/4 - 3/8 yd (20 - 30 cm).

Sizing: US 00 – 40 with regular and full bust options (approx. UK 6/8 – 34/36, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

A note from the designer about bust options: To determine if you should use the regular bust front pieces or the full bust front pieces, subtract the circumference of your over bust from the circumference of the fullest part of your bust. If the rounded difference is 3″ (7.5 cm) or less, use the regular bust. If the rounded difference is more than 3″ (7.5 cm), use the full bust.

Notions: 1 yd/m of 3/8" or 1/2" (1 cm or 1.25 cm)-wide straight fusible stay tape (or you may cut your own using lightweight woven fusible interfacing on the straight grain).

PDF pattern includes: Step-by-step illustrated instructions; US letter/A4 print-at-home pattern (38 pages for sizes 00-20, 53 pages for sizes 16-40, but you only need to print the pages for your bust size); A0 copy shop pattern (3 sheets for sizes 00-20, 5 sheets for sizes 16-40, but you only need to print the sheets for your bust size) // Layers: Yes // Projector file: No.
