I AM Patterns Gold Jacket

Buy the Gold Jacket sewing pattern from I AM Patterns. I am Gold, a reimagined denim jacket or vest with 18 variations. I feature all the classic elements of a denim jacket: a straight cut, slightly dropped shoulders, shirt collar, front and back panelling, two flap chest pockets and two welt pockets, button closure, adjustable waist tabs, sleeves with cuffs, and contrast topstitching. Without changing my cut, I can also transform into a workwear jacket: my pockets become straight patch pockets, my hem is finished with a simple edge, and my sleeves are simpler and finished with a hem. I come in three lengths – short (high hip), classic (hip), and long (below the knee) – and can be sewn without my collar or sleeves for complete styling freedom.

Main: Sturdy woven fabrics that provide good structure and durability, such as denim, cotton canvas, gabardine, corduroy, quilted fabric, cotton twill, etc.

Welt pocket lining: Cotton poplin or batiste.

Version A3: 140 cm (55") wide fabric: 130 - 160 cm (1 1/2 - 1 3/4 yd).

Version B1: 140 cm (55") wide fabric: Main, 175 - 215 cm (2 - 2 3/8 yd) // Lining, 35 - 40 cm (3/8 - 1/2 yd).

Version C1: 140 cm (55") wide fabric: Main, 225 - 275 cm (2 1/2 - 3 yd) // Lining, 35 - 40 cm (3/8 - 1/2 yd).

Version D2: 140 cm (55") wide fabric: 175 - 250 cm (2 - 2 3/4 yd) // 110 cm (43") wide fabric: 240 - 255 cm (2 5/8 - 2 7/8 yd).
