I AM Patterns Christophine Trousers and Shorts

Buy the Christophine Trousers and Shorts sewing pattern from I AM Patterns. I am Christophine, a contemporary trouser inspired by the classic jodhpur. With a slightly dropped crotch and generous ease around the hips, my cut offers both comfort and modern flair.

I feature front pleats, slanted side pockets, and patch pockets at the back. My waistband includes a subtle decorative detail at the back with a tightening tab, and wide, pointy belt loops for a distinctive finish.

I fasten with a traditional fly and come in three lengths to suit your style: full length trousers, Bermuda shorts, and shorts.

Version A: 140 cm (55") wide fabric: 200 - 215 cm (2 1/4 - 2 3/8 yd) // 110 cm (43") wide fabric: 215 - 250 cm (2 3/8 - 2 3/4 yd).

Version B: 140 cm (55") wide fabric: 155 - 180 cm (1 3/4 - 2 yd) // 110 cm (43") wide fabric: 185 - 220 cm (2 - 2 3/8 yd).

Version C: 140 cm (55") wide fabric: 125 - 170 cm (1 3/8 - 1 7/8 yd) // 110 cm (43") wide fabric: 155 - 180 cm (1 3/4 - 2 yd).

Sizing: EU 34 – 52 (approx. UK 6 – 18, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

This pattern is drafted for a height of 5'5".

Notions: Iron-on interfacing, 30 cm x 140 cm (12" x 55"); one 15 cm (6") closed-end zip; one 2 cm (3/4") button; one 30 mm (1 1/4") adjustable tri-glide slider (with moving middle bar); thin cardboard for the ironing and topstitching templates.
