Buy the Halfmoon 101 Jeans sewing pattern from Halfmoon Atelier. Reminiscent of iconic classics, the Halfmoon 101 Jeans are lower-rise, straight leg and designed for a non-stretch (selvedge) denim. Designed to be snug around the hips and upper thighs, the Halfmoon 101s will curve nicely around your waist and hug your hips before straightening out from just above the knee toward the ankle. Choose a zipper or concealed button fly. The instructions will walk you through flat-felling the seams to create a simple look with a truly individual fit.

O
Oh Sew Fearless
oh wow.... possibly the holy grail..

I'll be honest, I was a bit gutted when I realised I only had rigid denim and so couldn't sew the MN Ash jeans that I had been planning.. but I think that was quite a turn of fabric fate as I was led to the Halfmoon 101 jeans.

I had seen these when Meghan launched the pattern so hopped straight to this pattern and I am so glad I did. It is such a lovely classic style, and a break for me from my skinny jean staples. I did make a fair few adjustments which I detailed on my blog post here

Halfmoon Atelier Jeans Make

This was my first foray into jeans making and the pattern and instructions made it all feel so manageable - just like a lesson!

I've made two pairs of these now and I know there will be more. Great job Halfmoon Atelier :)
