Suggested fabrics and fabric requirements:
A large men's shirt or jacket. For ages 4 and above, the bigger the better.
Suit jackets are not as wide as shirts at the top of the arm, so for ages 4 and above, check the jacket arm is wide enough at the top of the sleeve before cutting.
For ages 5 and 6, you will need an XXL shirt (17" collar or bigger) or jacket, and the trousers might be a little shorter than ankle length (but this can be cute).
If you would like pockets on the trousers, choose a shirt with pockets!
Sizing: 1 - 6 years. Please check the size chart and finished garment measurements.
Notions: 1" (2.5 cm) wide elastic // Optional: New buttons for cuffs.
PDF pattern includes: Instructions; US letter/A4 print-at-home pattern (16 pages); A0 copy shop pattern (1 sheet).
