Buy the 105 Syrian Dress sewing pattern from Folkwear. For crossing the deserts of Africa or the urban landscape, this flowing dress is a perfect canvas for needlework or fabric artistry. Typical of Syrian dresses, this garment falls gracefully to the ankles from a large square yoke that forms a triangular effect on the front, back and sleeves. The sleeves are tapered and cuffed. The dress has side panels, underarm gussets, slit pockets, and a narrow stand-up collar.

The pattern includes instructions for two optional embroidery designs that can be done by machine or hand. Other optional motifs for the side panels, sleeves, and seams are included. For an 'easy sew' you can also cut pieces using contrasting fabrics.

This sewing pattern is available to buy in the following formats:

– PDF (available to download immediately after purchase). What is a PDF?

– PDF pattern + Printed A0 copy shop (We print out the A0 pattern sheets, but you’ll need to download the digital instructions, as we don’t print these. The PDF files will be emailed immediately after purchase, and the A0 pattern sheets will be dispatched next working day). What is Copy Shop?
