Suggested fabrics: Nona becomes a real eye-catcher in a stiffer fabric like poplin, batiste or organza. Chambray, double gauze, lyocell or linen will also give extra volume. If you would like the top to be more supple, choose a lighter fabric like (viscose) crêpe.

Fabric requirements: 110 cm wide fabric: 205 - 320 cm // 140 cm wide fabric: 165 - 265 cm.

Sizing: EU 32 – 60 / US 0 – 28 / UK 4 – 32 (approx. UK 6 – 28/30, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and pattern measurements.

Notions: 22 cm concealed zip.

PDF pattern includes: Step-by-step illustrated instructions; A4/US letter print-at-home pattern (34 pages); A0 copy shop pattern (2 sheets) // Layers: Yes // Projector file: Yes.

Note: Seam allowances are included in this pattern. The copy shop file we print for you shows the cutting lines only (not cutting lines and stitching lines) to make it easier to know what size to cut out.

Nona is way beyond’Nice’

Absolutely loved the way this top came out! I frequently treat myself to the magazine but I’ve always been hesitant to actually try making anything. The toughest part of tracing the magazine pattern was finding the correct notch lines to follow. But I found the pattern so well drafted that it didn’t really matter. The curve of the pieces just fit together and online directions were excellent! My full Bust is 38 inches and I cut a size 40. I didn’t want it tight for a Caribbean wedding and I figured I could always take in the princess seams, but is wasn’t necessary. Bra is a must for me and straps were covered. The ‘puff/ruffle’ is not too much IMHO and it’s double sided which cleverly attaches to lining and hides the seams. Side zip also helps with fit. I made mine in cotton silk blend and added 1 inch bias tape to finish hem. So glad I took the leap out of my comfort zone. I’ve made 2 so far!
