Fibre Mood Maris Top

Buy the Maris Top sewing pattern from Fibre Mood. Maris requires a bit of patience when sewing, but you'll be rewarded with a light, playful blouse. The gathers at the front and back meet at the doubled yoke, creating volume and a neat inner finish. The sleeve is given a touch of flair with gathers at the cuff and a slit. Maris has a hidden polo placket at the centre front, and the neckline is finished with bias tape. A small slit in the side seam makes styling extra flexible: tuck it in at the front and leave it loose at the back.

Suggested fabrics: For a more pronounced look, use a firmer fabric such as stonewashed or paper-touch/nylon-touch poplin, cotton sateen, nylon or taffeta. If you prefer a lighter, more subtle look, drapey options such as crepe (viscose, polyester or silk), viscose satin, chambray or muslin are ideal. If you're somewhere in between, linen, seersucker and double gauze are lovely all-round choices.

Sizing: XS – XXXL (approx. UK 6 – 28/30, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer's size chart and pattern measurements.
