Buy the Kaori Dress sewing pattern from Fibre Mood. This flowing dress with raglan sleeves feels wonderfully airy – perfect for long summer days and balmy summer evenings. It has pleats in the sleeves for a subtle puffed effect and gathers at the back and sleeves for a playful touch. The deep neckline at the front features eyelets and a tie for a customisable look. The neckline is neatly finished with a facing, and handy pockets are hidden in the side seams.

Suggested fabrics: Kaori looks best in firmer fabrics that beautifully support its flowing volume, such as stonewashed or paper-touch/nylon-touch poplin, cotton sateen, linen, nylon or taffeta. Avoid fabrics that are too thin or stretchy, as they lack the necessary structure to hold the shape of the dress. If you're looking for a more subtle and supple effect, Kaori also works well in crepe (viscose, polyester or silk), viscose satin or chambray. If you prefer something in between, then seersucker, lyocell or double gauze are ideal options to strike a balance between structure and flow.

Fabric requirements: 140 cm wide fabric: 310 - 400 cm.

Sizing: XS – XXXL (approx. UK 6 – 28/30, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer's size chart and pattern measurements.

Notions: Iron-on interfacing, max. 43 cm; twelve 5 mm eyelets // Optional: cord/tie, max. 150 cm (you can use the tie pattern piece instead).
