Fibre Mood Greta Jacket

Buy the Greta Jacket sewing pattern from Fibre Mood. Greta is for those who love special details and a bit of a challenge. The seams are sewn with the wrong sides facing and finished with bias binding for a striking effect. Greta also features bound buttonholes, welt pockets, and an optional rib knit collar. Add your favourite belt to tie the look together beautifully.

Suggested fabrics: Choose teddy or faux shearling fabric to give this jacket its cosy appeal. Bouclé or soft felt are also excellent choices. Avoid fabrics that are too thin or drapey – this jacket looks best in fabrics with body. For the pockets, facings, etc., use a contrast fabric without texture such as canvas or twill.

Fabric requirements: 

Main: 110 cm wide fabric: 190 - 255 cm // 140 cm wide fabric: 125 - 235 cm.

Contrast: 110 cm wide fabric: 65 - 85 cm // 140 cm wide fabric: 65 - 85 cm.

Sizing: XS – XXXL (approx. UK 6 – 28/30, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and pattern measurements.

Notions: Iron-on interfacing, max. 85 cm; buttons, 2-2.5 cm diameter, 4 for XS-L or 5 for XL-XXXL; bias tape, folded width 2-2.5 cm (see chart) // Optional: bias tape for pocket welt, folded width 2 cm, max. 25 cm (you can use pattern piece instead); rib knit, 35 cm wide, max. 30 cm.
