Buy the Frankie Dress sewing pattern from Fibre Mood. This tailored mini dress with a boat neck has bust darts as well as front and back waist darts for a beautiful fit. The button closure at the centre front is partly decorative: you slip the dress on via an invisible zip in the side seam and only use the top two buttons (fewer buttonholes to make!). Frankie's neckline and armholes are finished with a facing, and welt pockets on the front give the design a refined finishing touch.
