Buy the Dora Dress sewing pattern from Fibre Mood. The simple cut of this dress shows off the elegant butterfly sleeves. The dress has a standing collar and the zip is beautifully camouflaged in the back seam. Dora always gives it her all in knee, calf and ankle lengths. And that’s with or without the belt to accentuate the waist.

This sewing pattern is available to buy in the following formats:

– PDF (available to download immediately after purchase). What is a PDF?

– PDF pattern + Printed A0 copy shop (We print out the A0 pattern sheets, but you’ll need to download the digital instructions, as we don’t print these. The PDF files will be emailed immediately after purchase, and the A0 pattern sheets will be dispatched next working day). What is Copy Shop?

Suggested fabrics: Both woven and knit fabrics work nicely. However, a fabric with a fluid drape is recommended to make Dora look truly divine. Do you want your sleeves to make a statement? In that case, a stiffer fabric like cotton would be a grand idea.

Fabric requirements: 110 cm wide fabric: 290 - 420 cm // 140 cm wide fabric: 250 - 425 cm.

Sizing: EU 32 – 58 / US 0 – 26 / UK 4 – 30 (approx. UK 6 – 26/28, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

Notions: Thread; iron-on interfacing, max. 40 cm; invisible zip, 62 cm.

PDF pattern includes: Step-by-step illustrated instructions; A4/US letter print-at-home pattern (42 pages); A0 copy shop pattern (3 sheets).

Note: Seam allowances are included in this pattern. The copy shop file we print for you shows the cutting lines only (not cutting lines and stitching lines) to make it easier to know what size to cut out.
