Buy the Caren Blouse sewing pattern from Fibre Mood. Caren plays it smart: soft and romantic, yet sleek and modern. Romantic, thanks to the gathers all around. Sleek, thanks to the pointed collar with a collar band, and the yoke which ensures a nice fit around the shoulders. The concealed button closure at the centre front gives Caren a clean look, and then there's that little slit in the sleeve for a bit more oomph.

Suggested fabrics: Caren looks best in supple, thin, and slightly sheer fabrics, which enhance the romantic look of the design. Think muslin, chiffon, voile, or other fabrics with a fine texture. Choose fabrics that move elegantly and are subtly transparent, so that the balance between airiness and volume is just right. Stiffer fabrics such as batiste are also suitable. 

Fabric requirements: 110 cm wide fabric: 270 - 375 cm // 140 cm wide fabric: 190 - 315 cm.

Sizing: XS – XXXL (approx. UK 6 – 28/30, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and pattern measurements.

Notions: Iron-on interfacing, max. 80 cm; 1-1.5 cm buttons, 6 for XS-L or 7 for XL-XXXL.
