Buy the Amaya Dress sewing pattern from Fibre Mood. Sun on your skin, sand between your toes...and Amaya draped loosely over your outfit. That's all you need. Amaya is a light sleeveless dress that you wear over trousers, shorts or a skirt. The dress is closed only at the top, with two sets of ties, and flutters open playfully at the front. The delicate spaghetti straps with bra rings and sliders make it easy to adjust to the right length, while the bust darts ensure a beautiful fit. Amaya's neckline is neatly finished with a facing for a polished look inside and out. Ready for sun, sea and everything in between.

Note if purchasing copy shop printing: One of the pattern pieces has been split (to fit on the A0 sheet) and will need to be joined together.

Suggested fabrics: Amaya looks best in a flowing, supple fabric such as viscose satin, (viscose) crepe or chambray. This allows the dress to drape beautifully. Linen, polyester or silk are also perfect options. You could opt for a jacquard or a fabric with some texture, provided it isn't too thick or too firm.

Fabric requirements: 140 cm wide fabric: 240 - 290 cm.

Sizing: EU 32 – 60 / US 0 – 28 / UK 4 – 32 (approx. UK 6 – 28/30, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer's size chart and pattern measurements.

Notions: Iron-on interfacing, max. 80 cm; two bra rings and two sliders // Optional: loop turner.
