Gorgeous, but can’t be comfortable?

So I made size 18-24month for my 9month old boy. He is about 10kg and is wearing 9-12month from the high street. Hint....this pattern is freaking small! I’m noticing this is a theme with kids patterns.

I made a long sleeve version from french terry and a short sleeve version from woven cotton. Both looked absolutely fantastic, however this is where the joy stops.

Roll your sleeves up mums, because this is an absolute fight to get your baby into this thing. Even with poppers round the crotch. Once they’re in snap lots of lovely photos because you will never want to put it on again! And then once nap time comes around the poor boy looks so uncomfortable, especially in the woven version, the arms and neckline is cutting in all over the place. The long sleeve version is also very tight around the wrists.

I mean it really does look adorable.....so maybe for a special occasion and then straight into the “memory box”??
