Elbe Textiles Carey Top and Skirt

Buy the Carey Top and Skirt sewing pattern from Elbe Textiles. Both top views are fully lined and feature gently curved panels, highlighted with optional topstitching. The back has an open ended zip closure but can be easily altered to have other closures such as buttons or lacing.
The A-line, midi length skirt has seven panels matching the seamlines of the View A bustier. The waist is finished cleanly with a facing and has a centre back zip closure. The hem has a twin-stitched raw edge.

Suggested fabrics:
Main (top and skirt): Heavy weight woven fabric. Denim, canvas, heavy weight linen, structured cottons.
Lining (top only): Medium weight woven fabric.
Fabric requirements: If you're using a patterned fabric with a repeat you'd like to match, you may need more fabric. For the top, you will need the amount listed for both your main fabric and lining fabric.
Top
110 cm (45") wide fabric: 60 - 110 cm (0.6 - 1.2 yd).
150 cm (60") wide fabric: 60 - 75 cm (0.6 - 0.8 yd).
Skirt
110 cm (45") wide fabric: 200 - 300 cm (2.2 - 3.3 yd).
150 cm (60") wide fabric: 150 - 210 cm (1.6 - 2.3 yd).
Sizing: A – N (approx. UK 6 – 32, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer's size chart and finished garment measurements.
This pattern has been drafted for a height of 5'7".
This pattern has two cup size options: a B cup and a C/D cup. To find your sewing cup size, measure your high bust and full bust. The difference between the two measurements will tell you your cup size.
5 cm (2") difference = B cup
7.5 cm (3") difference = C cup
10 cm (4") difference = D cup
Notions: 50 cm of fusible interfacing; topstitching thread // Top: open ended zipper, 20 cm (8") for sizes A-H or 25 cm (10") for sizes I-N // Skirt: 25 cm (10") invisible zipper.
