Buy the Parasol Dress and Top sewing pattern from Cris Wood Sews. Parasol is a casual dress or top with front and back v-necklines, a back neck tie, and gathered skirt (dress) or lower panel (top). 

The dress has ample arm openings that fall past the shoulder and above the elbow, while the top has straight, elbow length sleeves. The sleeve and sleeveless options are interchangeable between the top and dress. 

The dress has patch pockets and hits at mid-calf, while the top hits at the hip. Although sewn with all straight seams, the waistline appears asymmetrical when worn, rising to the mid-bust in front and draping down to the natural waist in back. A fit adjustment is provided with the gathering line just below the bust.
