Suggested fabricsCotton jersey, cotton lycra, rayon jersey, rayon french terry, rib knit. This style is designed for a light to medium weight 75% - 100% stretch knit fabric with nice drape and good recovery. The shape of this style is relaxed and may look boxy when sewn with a thicker knit fabric. If your fabric has less than 75% stretch or less than 90% recovery, it’s recommended to use rib fabric for the neckband.

Fabric requirements: Minimum fabric required is listed. If you think you will need more for shrinkage, directional print, pattern matching or print repeat, please purchase accordingly.

58" (148 cm) wide fabric: Top - short sleeve, 1 1/4 - 2 yd (1.1 - 1.8 m) // Top - long sleeve, 1 1/2 - 2 1/2 yd (1.4 - 2.3 m) // Dress - short sleeve, 1 1/2 - 2 1/2 yd (1.4 - 2.3 m) // Dress - long sleeve, 2 1/2 - 3 yd (2.3 - 2.7 m).

Contrast fabric (View A): 1/4 yd (0.25 m) of light weight woven rayon, cotton or linen. Alternatively, 1.25" (3 cm) wide ribbon can be used for ties.

Sizing: US 0 – 30 (approx. UK 8 - 30) with A/B and C/D cups. Please check the size chart and finished garment measurements.

Use the high bust and full bust measurements to determine your size. If you fall between sizes, size down. It is always recommended to sew a test garment to confirm fit.

This pattern includes two bust cup options, and the cup size is determined by calculating the difference between the high and full bust. If the difference between your high bust and full bust is between 0" and 2" (5 cm) use the A/B cup. If the difference is between 2" (5 cm) and 4" (10 cm) use the C/D cup. If you have more than a 4" (10 cm) difference, you may need a full bust adjustment.

Notions1 yd (0.9 m) of 1.25" (3 cm) elastic (View A only) // Optional: Safety pin or turning tool (View A only); tricot fusible or clear elastic to stabilise the seams.

PDF pattern includes: Step-by-step illustrated instructions; US letter/A4 print-at-home pattern (60 pages); US copy shop pattern (36″ x 125″); A0 copy shop pattern (4 sheets) // Layers: Yes // Projector file: No.

White & gold Pixie Tee

On the blog: https://miio.org/sofar/gb/aiguille-ciseaux/coudre-le-pixie-tee-tshirt-chalk-notch
I grabbed the Pixie Tee pattern at the time of it’s release while the designer, Chalk & Notch, offered it for free for a few days. Honestly, I do not think I would have bought it otherwise … but in the end, I’m very happy with this slightly oversized t-shirt with an elasticated waist.

The Pixie Tee is a wardrobe staple with a nice little twist. Very comfortable, I discovered that it combines particularly well with my khaki Robinson pants. I wear the combo often enough, it’s an outfit that does not give me need to think!
