Note if purchasing copy shop printing: Some of the pattern pieces have been split (to fit on the A0 sheets) and will need to be joined together.

Suggested fabrics: Light to heavyweight wovens. View A sews up beautifully in wool and poly blend suitings for a classic tailored look, or midweight linen and cotton twills for a more casual feel. For suitings, choose a blend with at least some natural fibre content to ensure it can hold the press of the front pleats and crease. View B pairs perfectly with heavier weight fabrics such as denim, cotton twill, or canvas.

Self: 45" (115 cm) wide fabric: 2.75 - 4 yd (2.5 - 3.7 m) // 54" (142 cm) wide fabric: 2.75 - 3 yd (2.5 - 2.75 m).

Lining: 45" (115 cm) wide fabric: 1 - 1.25 yd (1 - 1.2 m) // 54" (142 cm) wide fabric: 1 - 1.25 yd (1 - 1.2 m).

Range 2 (14 - 32)

Self: 45" (115 cm) wide fabric: 3.75 - 4.5 yd (3.5 - 4.2 m) // 54" (142 cm) wide fabric: 3 - 4.25 yd (2.75 - 3.9 m).

Lining: 45" (115 cm) wide fabric: 1.5 - 1.75 yd (1.4 - 1.6 m) // 54" (142 cm) wide fabric: 1.25 - 1.5 yd (1.2 - 1.4 m).

Sizing: US 0 – 20 and US 14 – 32 (approx. UK 8 – 22 and UK 18/20 – 36, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer's size chart and finished garment measurements.

This pattern includes two size ranges that have been drafted separately to accommodate different body proportions. Range 1 (sizes 0-20) fits a body with a smaller waist-to-hip ratio. Range 2 (sizes 14-32) fits a body with a larger waist-to-hip ratio.

This pattern is drafted for a height of 5'6" (168 cm). The finished inseam length is 29" (73.6 cm) for all sizes.

Notions: 1 1/2" (38 mm) elastic; one 9" (23 cm) zipper; one 15-18 mm button; interfacing // View A: one hook and bar // View B: one 20-23 mm button // Optional: 1/2" (13 mm) double fold bias tape (if not making your own); 2.2 yd (2 m) of twill tape (for waistband).
