Bella Loves Patterns Neta Trousers

Buy the Neta Trousers sewing pattern from Bella Loves Patterns. Neta is a relaxed pair of high-rise, wide-leg trousers with pressed front and back crease lines. The trousers feature a fly front, stitched-in-place pleats at the front, waist darts at the back, and side slant pockets. The waistband extends past the centre front and fastens with a hook and bar and internal button. The trousers are floor length with an invisible hem.

Note if purchasing copy shop printing for Height Group 2: Some of the pattern pieces have been split (to fit on the A0 sheets) and will need to be joined together.

Suggested fabrics: Neta is designed for mid-weight woven fabrics with little to no stretch. Fabrics like bottom weight linen and suiting fabrics. Avoid fabrics that are itchy or uncomfortable as the trousers are unlined.

The sample is made in suiting fabric (62% polyester + 32% viscose + 6% elastane).

Fabric requirements: 

Height Group 1: 140 cm (55") wide fabric: 1.9 - 2.2 m (2.1 - 2.4 yd).

Height Group 2: 140 cm (55") wide fabric: 2 - 2.4 m (2.2 - 2.6 yd).

Sizing: UK 6 – 22 (approx. UK 6/8 – 18/20, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

This pattern has two height options:

Height Group 1: 160 cm (5'3")
Height Group 2: 170 cm (5'7")

Select the closest height to your body. Both groups have the same width around the body – the only difference is in the length. If you are outside these height groups, you may need to alter the pattern length.

Notions: Lightweight woven fusible interfacing; sew-on hook and bar; one 12-16 mm (1/2"-5/8") flat button for inside waistband; one nylon zip; stay tape, 1-1.2 cm (3/8"-1/2") wide; lining for bias binding on waistband.
