Buy the Teen Girls’ Shoreline Shorts sewing pattern from Waves & Wild. A simple but simply perfect shorts pattern. There are three lengths to choose from, optional pockets, and an elasticated waist. The pattern is designed for medium weight knit fabrics such as French terry or sweatshirt fleece. An overlocker/serger can be used for many steps, but a regular sewing machine is all you need for all options.

Note: This pattern has a female/curvy fit. A separate pattern for teens with a male/straight fit is available here, and a version for babies and younger children is available here.

Suggested fabrics: Medium weight knit fabrics are required, ideally with at least 50% stretch, such as cotton/Lycra French terry, sweatshirt fleece, etc. Cotton/Lycra jersey can also be used but the fit will be a little more relaxed. Fabric with 4-way stretch is best but fabric with 2-way stretch can be used.

Fabric requirements: 140 cm (55″) wide fabric: 70 – 100 cm (7/8 – 1 1/8 yd).

Sizing: Teen 10 – 20. Please check the size chart. Note the size numbers do not indicate ages. This pattern has a female/curvy fit. A separate pattern with a male/straight fit is available here.

Notions: Waist elastic, 38 mm (1 1/2″) wide.
