Buy the Children’s Tropical Shirt sewing pattern from Wardrobe by Me. This casual button-up, short-sleeved shirt has a convertible collar, double yoke, two back pleats, and side slits. The left front has a pocket. You can also make a more feminine version with a rounded collar and elastic in the sleeve hem.

Suggested fabrics: Use light- to medium-weight woven fabrics in cotton, viscose, or linen.
Fabric requirements: 140 cm (55″) wide fabric: 0.7 – 1 m (0.75 – 1.1 yd).
Sizing: 3 – 12 years. Please check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.
Notions: Interfacing (90 cm/35″ wide), 0.5 m (0.5 yd); 5 buttons, 8 – 10 mm (1/4″ – 3/8″) diameter; optional elastic, 1 cm (3/8″) wide, 0.33 – 0.51 m (13″ – 19.75″).
PDF pattern includes: Instructions; A4/US letter print-at-home pattern (16 pages); A0 copy shop pattern (1 sheet). This pattern has layers so you can print just the size(s) you need.
